Challenge:
The foundation we worked with had a unique requirement for their online store - they needed a checkout system that allowed customers to ship their orders to multiple addresses. This posed a significant challenge for us as the default checkout system in WordPress does not support this feature.
Solution:
To overcome this challenge, we decided to create a dedicated plugin that offered support for multiple shipping addresses.
The plugin allowed customers to add multiple shipping addresses to their order and choose the appropriate address for each item in their cart.
On top of that we have created custom boiler plate for this wordpress site to speed up deploy process.
Results:
The implementation of the multiple shipping address checkout system was a huge success. It greatly improved the user experience for customers and made it easier for them to place orders.
Additionally, the plugin's simple and streamlined design helped to increase the overall conversion rate of the website. The faster checkout process also contributed to an overall improvement in the speed of the website, which was beneficial for both customers and search engine rankings. It allowed them to offer a more convenient and user-friendly shopping experience for their customers, which ultimately led to an increase in conversions and website performance.
